Forex trading operates 24 hours a day, five days a week (Except Saturday and Sunday). It can be broken into four major trading sessions across the globe. To develop the strategy the time is the most important factor:

Four Major Trading Sessions in the forex:

1. Sydney Session

2. Tokyo Session

3. London Session

4. New York Session

There are majorly two types of sessions in an year:

1. Winter Session- October to April

2. Summer Session- April to October

Timing Of Sessions as per Indian time:

Winter Session:

1. Sydney Session: 1.30am to 10.30am

2. Tokyo Session: 5.30am to 2.30pm

3. London Session: 1.30pm to 9.30pm

4. New York Session: 6.30pm to 3.30pm

Winter Session:

1. Sydney Session: 3.30am to 12.30pm

2. Tokyo Session: 6.30am to 3.30pm

3. London Session: 1.30pm to 9.30pm

4. New York Session: 6.30pm to 3.30pm
